Article Title:The indigenous tradition of ceramic manufacture in colonial Buenos Aires

Abstract:
The purpose of the present work is the analysis of ceramic remains of indigenous manufactory tradition, found in an excavated area in the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina. The presence of aboriginal pottery together with elements of European origin for 17th, 18th and 19th centuries, allows us to generate the hypothesis about an interaction between the colonial and native societies, starting from technological and historical aspects.
