The court ballet as a genre of French musical theater appeared at in the late 16th century. In later years French kings used dancing productions more than once to create their positive social image. They helped the king carry out the policy of the-domestication of nobles and to form his representative image, which gave rise to the myth of the King-Sun as this nickname What were the modifications in the court ballet when Louis XIV appeared in the ballet and political scene?
