Article Title:Permanent confrontations in artistic activism

Abstract:
The present article proposes to discuss the importance and urgency of the artivist actions in the present times, especially with regard to dance. To this end, we use the term hegemony in the terms proposed by the Italian Marxist thinker Antonio Gramsci, also an idea of politics as the dialogue between private and public, through the negotiation of diversity and in search of freedom / emancipation of subjects, the text brings reflections on the possible activist powers of art and, at the same time, the alterations that this can undergo for the activist directives that cross it. In this way, the research reveals a scenario complex, mobile and fruitful in the relationship between art and politics, of doing and saying in which art, undergoing rebounds and tensions of politics, it also produces them, creating spaces that enhance their hegemonic.
