Article Title:Archives of the Dance (28): Chisenhale Dance Space
Abstract:
This contribution to the 'Archives of the Dance' series explores Chisenhale Dance Space's collection and my work with it as a PhD researcher. My research into Chisenhale's history is concerned with its formation and early history, from 1980-1989, this article reflects this focus. Beginning with some brief historical insights into Chisenhale Dance Space this article goes on to discuss the contents of the collection, my relationship to it and how I have approached my research. It should be noted that Chisenhale's archive is a work in progress and therefore not yet accessible to the public. Thus, it is not possible to provide full citation for references made to source material, however, details of records have been provided in the footnotes.
