Article Title:Some books from the library of Lope Garcia de Salazar

Abstract:
Detailed analysis of the texts that were of use to Lope Garcia de Salazar to construct the Biblical part of the Bienandanzas, confirming the use of Alba's Bible and of the General Estoria; he also used other texts that had not been mentioned still, like a romance version of the Yosifon, works written in Hebrew in Italy in the 10th century, which compiles an important part of the Jewish history and which had a wide spread in Europe; it is also valued the possible presence in the Salazar's library of the version of the Macabeos by Pedro Nunez de Osma. It is analyse how the author gives entrance to the diverse sources and the value he grants them, being suggested at the end that both the division of the prologue and the title itself Bienandanzas y fortunas can depend on Alba's Bible.
